90° Angle Profile

The Folded 90° Angle Profile is a precision-engineered prefabricated drywall component designed to deliver perfect right angle corners in both vertical and horizontal use cases. Two common applications are trimless window returns on vinyl windows with drywall flanges, and boxes to cover retrofitted HVAC piping.

INSTALLATION

  • Install on steel or wood framing, verifying that there is sufficient backing to catch the edge of the profile
  • Secure using drywall screws through flat section
  • Tape and finish the transition edges per GA-214 Level 4 guidelines
  • Refer to GA-216 for installation best practices
